Rebel Pilgrim Productions LLC, is a Nevada-based production company with offices in Las Vegas and Cincinnati, Ohio. Since 2008, RPP has produced four feature films attaining both critical acclaim and profitability. The company exists to produce movies that entertain, start discussions and plant seeds for a better world.

Joe Boyd, President
Joe Boyd

Joe is the President and Founder of Rebel Pilgrim Productions. After crafting a unique career as an actor, author and ordained Christian minister, Joe turned to producing films in 2005. Joe's first film Happily After Forever won several festival awards including Best Romantic Comedy at New York Film and Video Festival (2005). In 2008 Joe produced the commercially successful documentary film The Road To Emmaus, PA, reaching a cable distribution deal in the United States and Australia.

In 2010, his first feature narrative film, Hitting The Nuts, won the Best Feature Film Awards at both the Cincinnati and Derby City Film Festivals. It also won the Golden Ace Award for Superior Filmmaking at the 2011 Las Vegas Film Festival. Hitting The Nuts was widely praised in the poker community as “the funniest poker movie ever made,” proving that Rebel Pilgrim could deliver high quality, lower budget entertainment to a niche market that was both critically acclaimed and commercially viable.

Rebel Pilgrim is currently producing Fenced Off, a racially charged drama/ thriller, and A Strange Brand of Happy, a quirky romantic comedy with crossover appeal to the faith community.

James E. Nyberg

Jim Nyberg, is the Founder and Managing Partner of Nyberg & Associates, LLC, a finance, accounting, and information systems consulting firm for clients in the restaurant, entertainment,and manufacturing industries. From 1999 to 2002, he was the Chief Financial Officer for Paladin Entertainment Company, an entertainment and gaming development company where he developed entertainment concepts and produced industrial films.

From 1995 to 1998, he was the Chief Financial Officer for LateNite Magic, Inc., parent company to the entertainment venture Copperfield Magic Underground. From 1994 to 1995 he was Chief Financial Officer for Heartland Food Systems, Inc., a 230-unit restaurant chain with revenues of $160 million. Mr. Nyberg’s experience also includes four years with Ernst & Young, LLP. Mr. Nyberg has an MBA from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and is a CPA with a B.S. in Accountancy from Miami University.

Brad Wise, Producer
Brad Wise

Brad is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati’s school of Design Art Architecture and Planning (DAAP) which has been ranked by Business Weekly and International Design Magazine as one of the world’s Top 10 design schools. He honed his compositional eye working for the internationally-known poster design duo Skolos-Wedell in Boston. He developed a mission-focused, work ethic while working at one of the nation’s most influential mega-churches, Ginghamsburg Church. While there a collection of his short stories were published in The Transformation Journal from Abingdon Press.

Brad is currently the Creative Director for the Vineyard Cincinnati. In 2008, Brad co-created, produced and starred in the feature length documentary, The Road to Emmaus, PA. Later that year he wrote and directed The {re}Gifter, a stage and screen production that involved a 24 minute short film and a post-show interactive art exhibit. In the spring of 2009 Brad wrote and directed the short film, Doubting Thomas. That summer he was a co-producer on the feature film, Hitting the Nuts. Then, in the fall of 2009, Brad wrote and directed his latest short film, The Astrologers. A year later, Brad wrote and directed his second feature film, Fenced Off, which is currently in post-production.

Isaac Stambugh, Producer
Isaac Stambaugh

Isaac Stambaugh is an award-winning producer, videographer, editor, and actor. His credits comprise four feature films, including the award-winning “Hitting The Nuts,” and the award-winning “The Zone” TV show.

In addition to film and “The Zone,” Isaac has provided videography for ESPN, and directing, editing, and producing for Ohio University.

Isaac is currently on staff at Vineyard Community Church as Video Coordinator. He also has been a member of the improv comedy troupe the “Q-City Players” since 2008, and is Vice President of Flannelgraph Ministries. His first feature film as a director, Smells Like Community Spirit, is currently in post-produciton.
